Amaranth Tax & Bookkeeping

Important Notice
The information in this policy is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. Refund and cancellation rules may have legal and consumer‑protection implications. You should review this policy with a qualified attorney in your jurisdiction if you need legal guidance.

1. General ā€œNo Refundsā€ Policy

Amaranth Tax & Bookkeeping (ā€œAmaranth,ā€ ā€œwe,ā€ ā€œus,ā€ or ā€œourā€) maintains a strict no‑refund policy for services that have already been started or completed.

Once we begin working on your file (for example, reviewing documents, preparing tax returns, performing bookkeeping work, or providing consulting), our time and expertise are committed to your engagement. For that reason, fees for work already started or completed are non‑refundable.

2. Payments to Third Parties

Certain payments are made directly to, or on behalf of, third parties. These may include, for example:

  • IRS or state tax payments

  • Government filing fees or licenses

  • Local or municipal fees

  • Software or platform subscriptions (such as QuickBooks or similar tools)

These amounts are not fees paid to Amaranth and are never refundable by us under any circumstance. Any questions about those payments must be addressed directly with the relevant third party, where applicable.

3. Deposits, Rescheduling, and Cancellations

To reserve your appointment or service, we may require a deposit.

  • If youĀ provide at least 24 hours’ noticeĀ before your scheduled appointment, you mayĀ rescheduleĀ your appointmentĀ without losing your deposit.

  • If youĀ do not show upĀ for your appointment (no‑show) orĀ cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, yourĀ deposit is forfeited and non‑refundable.

We value your time and ours, and these rules help us manage our schedule and serve all clients efficiently.

4. Work Already Performed

Any fees related to work already performed—such as:

  • Tax returns that have been prepared or filed

  • Bookkeeping work that has been completed

  • Reviews, consultations, or analysis already provided

are considered earned and are not eligible for a refund, even if you decide not to proceed with filing, using, or implementing the work product.

5. Changes, Errors, and Cooperation

We rely on the information you provide. If information is incomplete, inaccurate, or changes after work has begun, additional fees may apply to correct or update your file.

If we make a material error that is solely our responsibility, we will work with you in good faith to correct it. However, this does not change the general no‑refund nature of our fees.

6. Policy Updates

We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time as our services or legal requirements change. The most current version will be posted on our website. Your continued use of our services after any update means you accept the revised policy.
